Let’s Talk Transition!

A conversation between CT AHEAD and CSCA

CT AHEAD Members will hold the annual business meeting following the discussion.

Presenters, Sharon Veatch (CSCA Board Member and HS Counselor from Regional School District one) and Kristen Scavone (CT Ahead Board Member and Director of AccessAbility Services at ECSU) will share their insight to the transition process for students with disabilities from both the high school and university perspective. The group at large will discuss experiences, best practices and identified gaps within the high school to post-secondary transition.

APRIL 9TH, 2021

• 8:45am: Meeting Opens; participants are encouraged to join and introduce themselves
• 9:00 – 11:00am: Presentations followed by open discussion
• 11:00 – Noon: Short break followed by CT AHEAD Annual Business meeting
